CCD ASTRONOMICAL IMAGES FROM CANBERRA

Welcome! My name is Steve Crouch and I live in Canberra in the Australian Capital territory.  Click here to see my geographical location.  Canberra is a city of about 360,000 and the skies are reasonably good at my outer suburban location. I have been involved in astronomy since the sixties.

My main activity is CCD imaging from my backyard observatory using the following equipment:

 The following links lead to examples of my work.  The shots under the "Recent Images" heading eventually migrate to the appropriate category pages.  Older images will be progressively removed as they are replaced with newer versions.

This site also contains a lot of images that were remotely obtained from Dean Salman's observatory near Benson Arizona.
